  1. I think I've mentioned this to you before Nicole, I'm not much of a movie person these days because of the expense. I mostly wait until movies come out in the Redbox :) But I have to say that I am really excited to see "Gone Girl" on your list...I read that book last year and it was a great read. Looking forward to seeing how they do with the movie. Maybe I'll give the other Gillian Flynn book a try...seeing how I liked the other book so much.

  2. We have discussed the exorbitant prices of movies in the past, for sure! I was actually hesitant over wether or not I should do this list this year because I am not sure I will be able to get to the theater to see all of them myself. First of all, I don't know how comfortable the theater will or won't be as I get closer to my nine month mark and THEN I know my little baby boy is going to put a real damper on my movie habits once he arrives! But I decided that I would not attach any movie-going requirement to the reads! Some of these night be late views for me as well. I scheduled them based on the release dates for the sake of people who really want to see "their book" in the theater.
As for GONE GIRL, tht has been on my "to read" list for awhile, but it kept getting bumped. I look forward to reading it for all the buzz it got, but I'm not sure how I feel about the early movie talk - they changed the ending?! Again, having not read it, I don't know if this is something that I would agree with yet, but it seems so weird for a story that has been so successful as is!

  4. I added my name to the list, but won't be hopping in with a review until February! (I'll try to do both books.)

  5. Well I read Divergent. Hm, maybe I'll try doing the January book for February.
